Trombone Custom Server Called Leg Termination Value

Abstract

The Blueworx Voice Response trombone functionality for call transfer available in Fix Pack 2 (fix level 4.2.0.550) supports returning a termination value from the outbound part of the trombone operation to the IVR application controlling the inbound part the trombone operation.

Content

The existing Blueworx Voice Response trombone functionality for call transfer has been improved to allow an agent to whom a call has been transferred to return a call termination value to the IVR application controlling the trombone after the agent has hung up. This feature is available through the new TromboneTerminationValue custom server function:

Description
TromboneTerminationValue can be used by the called party to specify a termination value before hanging up. When it receives this request, the custom server stores the value it receives and when the outbound part of the trombone disconnects it uses it to set the event data value on the channel event it uses to report the disconnect to the inbound part of the trombone. The inbound part of the trombone can retrieve this value from SV234 when the channel event indicating disconnection of outbound part of the trombone has been received.

Input parameters
long termination_value:
The value the outbound part of the trombone expects the inbound part of the trombone to receive as event data when the outbound part of the trombone disconnects.
