Find-me Follow-me Screening Preference

Question

How do I use the Find-me Follow-me Screening Preference feature available for home and small business subscribers (subscriber types 6 and 7, respectively)?

Cause

Currently, callers to home and small business subscribers first have to record their name after prompt 6972 when their call is routed to the subscriber's find-me follow-me number. This recording is used in the announcement (prompt 6968) played to the called party when the call is diverted.
A new configuration option (Caller Screen) is now available that allows such subscribers to route callers to their find-me follow-me number without callers first having to record their name. Prompts 6972 and 6968 are not played.

Administration
Currently, the User Profile field referral_type (SV111) is used to store the Find Me Follow Me on/off setting, where 0 indicates off and 1 indicates on. The new Find Me Follow Me screening option configuration data is stored in the 4th string character of the noticeboard_password subscriber administration field, where 1 indicates enabled, 0 indicates disabled.

This means that the current behaviour is retained by the default setting of 0 and existing subscriber data does not need to be changed.

The system variables SV397 (caller) and SV467 (receiver) for the noticeboard_password field hold the subscriber’s Find Me Follow Me Screening option settings.
